There are several ways to take a test on Hogeschooltaal:
- On-site at school (on laptops or fixed computers)
- ProctorExam via Noordhoff
- Custom proctoring solutions, such as Proctorio, ProctorExam, Microsoft Teams
- Remote home-based tests without proctoring
On-site at school:
When the test is taken on-site at school, a teacher or invigilator must always be present in the classroom. Only in this way can successful students be eligible for a certificate.
Students can take the test on a fixed computer or their own laptop.
ProctorExam via Noordhoff:
If conducting the test on-site at school is not possible, we have a solution. Through a partnership with ProctorExam, we can offer remote tests. This ensures that successful students still qualify for their certificate.
Custom proctoring:
If you have your own collaboration with ProctorExam, Proctorio, or another program, it's still possible to use Hogeschooltaal for tests. The following requirements must be met for successful students to earn a certificate:
- The student must be visible throughout the test via a webcam.
- The student's screen must be visible through screen sharing or recordings via a mobile phone.
- The student must be audible.
- The student must not have pen and paper unless otherwise specified by the educational institution.
If any of these requirements are not met, unfortunately, successful students won't be eligible for a certificate. This is because it can't be determined whether the student has engaged in fraudulent behavior.
Remote home-based tests without proctoring:
Of course, you can also choose remote home-based tests without proctoring. Students can take the test without fulfilling any additional obligations. However, successful students won't be eligible for a certificate in this case.
